I have an intellectual curiosity for style, shapes, color, and detail. The Art Institute of Charlotte allowed me to take advantage of this curiosity and explore, learn, and develop my desire of creative knowledge into marketable skills.
What excites and inspires me the most within the fashion industry are the fashion publications that present both images and text in relation to upcoming fashion trends. A large percent of my educational experience has been fueled by the styles, layouts, colors, and details found in these publications.
I love working in a fast-paced environment and I am enthusiastic about new ideas and developing creative solutions. Because of this, my first objective is to work in an entry-level position for a well-known, mass consumer fashion magazine as a fashion assistant. During my recent study abroad in Europe, I enjoyed a variety of opportunities that have influenced a desire to live in a diverse, fast-paced, and fashion focused city. My long-term aspirations include developing my own high-end, mass consumer fashion magazine in New York City. I also will continue traveling to explore various cultures to stay current with new trends.
