East Carolina University graduate Erika C., 22, didn’t realize her shoe fetish until she bought her first house. “I have always lived in my apartment in ECU or with my parents, so a master bedroom with the closet attached wasn’t available. When I got my house here my shoes covered the entire wall of the closet. They had room!” Coming home to her new life added a career as well, “A new wardrobe was a must for me. At ECU I studied education so khaki pants and a cute top was appropriate for my teaching internship.
